Help us help hurricane victims in DC

Although New York and New Jersey have been the primary focus of this week's hurricane, DC has suffered greatly as well. In particular, homeless individuals are suffering from cold temperatures in a totally soaking wet climate.

To help ease the burden, I would like to encourage everyone on behalf of The Firefly House to donate to Miriam's Kitchen. Miriam's is a kitchen in DC that serves daily meals, provides clothing, and other social services to homeless individuals in our area. Right now they are in desperate need of sleeping bags, blankets, socks, and coats. 

T. Thorn Coyle and Solar Cross temple are joining us in these efforts and have created their own fundraising campaign. Please give whatever you can to help. 

Firefly members volunteer at Miriam's frequently so I can tell you how wonderful they are at providing these services.
